OUR STORY

Built From Experience.
Created for the Next Generation.

Youth Accountability Network was founded by entrepreneur Kwadwo “Ko” Owusu with a simple purpose: to give young people access to the knowledge and real-world skills he had to learn through experience.

After years as an entrepreneur, Ko experienced both the successes and challenges that come with building something of your own. Along the way, he recognized how valuable it would have been to learn certain lessons earlier—how to hold yourself accountable, manage money, communicate with confidence, develop an idea, and understand how to market and brand it.

With a passion for helping young people, Ko created Youth Accountability Network (YAN) to turn those lessons into opportunities for the next generation.

Bridging the gap between the classroom and real life.

YAN gives teens hands-on experience in personal development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, branding, marketing, leadership, and communication. The goal isn't simply to teach teens what to know. It's to help them learn how to apply it.

OUR MISSION

Preparing Young People for Life Beyond the Classroom.

YAN empowers youth to invest in themselves by building discipline, accountability, real-life financial skills, leadership, and entrepreneurial thinking that prepare them for their future.

EMPOWER

Build confidence, accountability, discipline, and leadership skills that help young people take ownership of their future.

Empower. Educate. Elevate.

Our approach combines personal growth, practical knowledge, and hands-on experiences that help young people build skills they can use beyond the classroom.

EDUCATE

Provide practical knowledge in personal development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, branding, marketing, and communication.

OUR APPROACH
ELEVATE

Give young people opportunities to apply what they learn, develop their voice, and prepare for their future.
